Dan Fleischer

Dan Fleischer is Managing Partner of 2 Capital Advisor,  LLC, which helps mobilize private capital for low carbon and renewable energy investment strategies  globally.  Mr. Fleischer works with senior-level  government officials and leading investors to strengthen policies, reduce risks and structure sound investments so countries can flourish by developing their  own unique energy resources and industries.Before forming 2 Capital, Dan was a Director at UBS Investment Bank where he focused on the global power, infrastructure and renewable energy sectors and lead related efforts in Latin America. Prior to UBS, Dan was member of the Public Sector Energy Infrastructure Group at Goldman Sachs.

From June 2009 to June 2010, Dan was a visiting Robert Bosch Foundation Fellow in Germany. During his tenure as a Bosch Fellow, which is awarded annually to 20 distinguished American professionals under the age of 35, Dan assisted  the German Federal Ministry for the  Environment with efforts around climate change finance and was a member of the official German delegation to the UNFCCC COP15 climate conference in Copenhagen.  Additionally, Dan also worked with E.On Climate & Renewables’ Munich – based team, investing in and developing renewable energy projects in Central Europe. Dan’s experience in multiple industries, functions and previous admissions success allows for college, business  school and policy program stories to be best told very effectively.

Dan holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, an M.Sc, with Distinction, in local Economic development from the London School of Economics, as well as undergraduate degrees in Politics and Ecology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
